Bollywood on-screen character Kareena Kapoor Khan, the grandchild of amazing performing artist movie producer Raj Kapoor, says nepotism does not exist in the Indian film industry.
The performer was available at The India Today Conclave 2018 alongside her sister Karishma Kapoor on Saturday. In a discussion with writer Rajdeep Sardesai, she was inquired as to whether nepotism exists in the film business.
Kareena answered: "There are such a large number of geniuses from yesteryears and not the greater part of their kids are a whiz. On the off chance that nepotism exists, they would have been a major star at this point."
"The way that Ranveer Singh has turned into the new whiz of Bollywood who does not originate from a film family demonstrates the way that they move toward becoming genius out of their sheer ability and diligent work. Nepotism does not exist," she said.
"I ponder the ability that takes you where you go. When you are on-screen, anyone can represent the moment of truth you; anybody can make a judgment on you regardless of you are a little girl or grandchildren of somebody," said Karishma.
"Furthermore, for an adolescent who has a colossal family and heritage behind, is much difficult to make a check," she included.
While they were countered by Sardesai that "yet Kangana (Ranaut, performer) said something else", Karishma stated: "Individuals can have their conclusion and we should regard every sentiment."
