6 bodies recovered after Barisal boat capsized on Wednesday

The groups of six individuals who disappeared after a pontoon conveying lovers overturned in the Kirtankhola River on Wednesday were recuperated from Charmonai Launchghat in Barisal Sadar upazila on Friday. 

The perished were distinguished as Shahi Ali, 28, child of Amanullah of Gazipur region, Jakir Hossain Dildar, 30, of Bhabanipur in Gazipur region, Iftekhar, 9, child of Abdul Malek of Gazipur Sadar, Badshah Dali, 65, of Pachankhola town in Tongibari upazila of Munshiganj region, Delwar Hossain, 28, child of Makbul Hossain of Mymensingh region, and Abdul Kuddus, 24, child of Hedayet Hossain of Laxmipur area. 

Belal Hossain officer accountable for Barisal Naval Police Station, said the collections of two casualties were recuperated toward the beginning of the day while that of four others at twelve. 

Prior on Wednesday evening, the watercraft conveying fans to a social affair of Charmonai Darbar Sharif sank in the waterway in the wake of being hit by a trawler, he said.
