Administrator of Parliamentary Standing Committee on LGRD and Cooperatives Ministry Abul Hasnat Abdullah, MP has the status of clergyman.
He was given the status through a warning marked by Cabinet Division secretary on Thursday, said an official discharge on Friday.
As indicated by the warning, Abdullah, convener of the board to execute the Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT) peace accord marked between National Committee on Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs and the Parbatya Chattagram Jana-Samhati Samiti, will get rank, pay and stipends and different offices comparable to a pastor till he serves the post.
