CBSE introduces major changes for Class 11, discontinues English Communicative for Class 9

In a letter as of late issued by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), English Communicative has been stopped by the board for class 9 understudies from the up and coming scholarly session i.e. 2018-19. Alongside this, two different electives from class 9 and three from class 11 have additionally been suspended.

English Communicative (code 101) 

Data and Communication Technology (code 166) 

e-Publishing and e-Office (code 354 and 454) 

THE SUBJECTS WHICH HAVE BEEN DISCONTINUED FOR CLASS 11 STUDENTS ARE: 

Move - Mohiniyattam (code 062) 

Mixed media and Web Technology (code 067) 

English Elective CBSE (code 101) 

THE BOARD ALSO MERGED A FEW VOCATIONAL ELECTIVES SUBJECTS: 

Three scholarly electives have been converged with comparative professional electives and will be offered as Vocational Electives from the session 2018-19 in class 11. 

These subjects are: 

Farming (code 068) 

Form Studies (code 053) 

Broad communications Studies (code 072) 

SANSKRIT AND COMPUTERS RENAMED: 

Further, 'Sanskrit Communicative' has been renamed 'Sanskrit' as endorsed by NCERT. Likewise, 'Establishments of Information Technology' has been renamed to 'PC Applications'. 

During the current year, there will likewise be two courses for Computer understudies - Computer Science (Old) and Computer Science (New). Schools have the alternative to offer both the courses. In any case, every such school offering old educational programs have been asked for to illuminate their instructors about the new syllabus to prepare them better for the updated one which will be the main alternative for 2019-20 scholastic year.
