Germany's department on the Greek island of Crete was quickly involved Friday by dissenters criticizing Turkey's hostile in the Syrian enclave of Afrin, police said.
"A gathering of people entered the department, brought down casings from the dividers and set up pennants. At that point they cleared out," a police representative said.
A flag perusing "Protection is life, solidarity to Afrin" was envisioned dangling from the gallery of the department in Iraklio, Crete.
The representative declined to remark on reports that the dissidents additionally harmed gear in the department, and carried off the German banner.
There were no captures and no wounds were accounted for.
The German consulate in Athens couldn't promptly be gone after remark.
Ankara on January 20 propelled a military activity supporting Syrian renegades against the Syrian Kurdish People's Protection Units (YPG) volunteer army in its enclave of Afrin.
Turkey says the YPG is a "fear monger" branch of the banned Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), which has been pursuing an uprising inside Turkey since 1984.
