Maj Gen Shafeenul made new BGB chief

Significant General Shafeenul Islam has been delegated as executive general of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB). 

The Ministry of Public Administration today issued a paper in such manner, 12 days after its quick past DG Maj Gen Abul Hossain was pulled back from this post. 

Shafeenul was the director of Bangladesh Tea Board since 14 February 2016. 

Conceived on March 2, 1966 in Jaypurhat, Shafeenul joined Bangladesh Military Academy on June 25, 1984 and was authorized on June 27, 1986 in the Corps of Infantry. 

He is an alum of Defense Services Command and Staff College, Mirpur, Bangladesh and got his Masters in Defense Studies from National University.
