A minor kid was scorched to death in a fire at Hathatpara town in Shibganj upazila on Friday night.
The expired was recognized as Nabi, 9, child of Sumon Ali of the town.
Officer accountable for Shibganj Police Station Habibul Islam said the fire started from mosquito-repellent incense at Ezabul Haq's cowshed of the town around 11pm.
Nabi, grandson of Ezabul Haq, who snoozing there was singed to death.
Afterward, local people put out the fire.
