Pilot Abid Sultan of crashed US-Bangla flight dies


Abid Sultan, the pilot of the slammed US-Bangla Airlines flight who supported wounds in the plane crash, passed on at Norvic Hospital in Kathmundu on Tuesday, UNB reports. 

Md Kamrul Islam, General Manager (GM), Marketing Support and PR of US-Bangla Airlines, affirmed the demise. 

Three other lodge team individuals co-pilots - Prithula Rashid, Khwaza Hossain Mohammad Shafi and Shamim Akter passed on after the crash. 

Abid Sultan, an accomplished pilot, flied 5,000 hours altogether and 1,700 hours with the smashed flight. 

The US-Bangla Airlines flight BS211, which flew from Dhaka to Kathmandu conveying 67 travelers and four team individuals, smashed at Tribhuvan International Airport in the capital of Himalayan nation of Nepal on Monday, leaving 49 individuals, including 25 Bangladeshis, dead. 

The plane was conveying 32 travelers from Bangladesh, 33 from Nepal and one each from China and the Maldives. Kamrul did not give the nationalities of the four team individuals.
