Plane crash probe likely to take over a year: CAAB


Common Aviation Authority, Bangladesh (CAAB) director Air Vice Marshal M Naim Hassan has said it may take over one year to finish the examination concerning the US-Bangla plane crash. 

"Ordinarily, examination concerning any plane crash takes one year," said the CAAB administrator while conversing with journalists at his office on Thursday. 

As the plane crash occurred in Nepal, they are examining the episode and a Bangladesh group will help them, he said. 

Naim Hassan stated, "The Black Box will be sent to Canada, while different parts of the air ship will be tried. It'll set aside opportunity to finish every one of the conventions." 

It isn't conceivable to set a settled time to end the test, he stated, reports UNB. 

The ID procedure of the perished is in progress, and it will be finished soon. 

The post-mortem of the 19 bodies has just been finished, said the Caab director. 

US-Bangla Airlines flight BS211, which flew from Dhaka to Kathmandu conveying 67 travelers and four team individuals, smashed at Tribhuvan International Airport in the capital of Himalayan nation of Nepal on Monday, leaving 51 individuals, including 26 Bangladeshis, dead.
