PM holds talks with Vietnam president

Head administrator Sheik Hasina started respective chats with Vietnamese President Tran Dai Quang at her office here at the beginning of today following a heart to heart. 

"The two pioneers had a face to face chat and after that the official talks between the two nations started . . . they are being helped by pastors and authorities concerned," a head's office representative told BSS. 

A few assentions or updates of Understanding (MoUs) are relied upon to be marked after the discussions between the two pioneers, which will be trailed by conveying joint press explanation by them. 

Sheik Hasina prior got the Vietnamese President at the Tiger Gate of the Prime Minister's Office at 10 am with a bundle. 

Quang landed here on Sunday on a three-day official visit at the welcome of his Bangladesh partner M Abdul Hamid with a mean to advance two-sided ties in various regions including economy, exchange, venture, horticulture, guard and security between the two nations. 

This is an abnormal state visit of any Vietnamese pioneer in 14 years as previous President Tran Duc Luong visited Bangladesh in 2004. Vietnam was among the principal nations on the planet to perceive Bangladesh's autonomy. 

The Vietnamese President's legitimate engagement started in the midst of a gathering with Foreign Minister Abul Hassan Mahmood Ali on Sunday evening. 

Prior today, Quang laid a wreath at the National Memorial in Savar to pay reverence to 1971 Liberation War saints. 

Afterward, he went by the Bangabandhu Memorial Museum at Dhanmondi and set a wreath at the representation of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheik Mujibur Rahman to pay regard to the memory of the best Bangalee ever. 

President Quang will hold a gathering with his Bangladesh partner Abdul Hamid at Credentials Hall of Bangabhaban at around 7:30 pm today. A state supper took after by a social capacity will be held to pay tribute to him. 

Wrapping up his official visit here, the Vietnamese President is planned to leave Dhaka on Tuesday evening.
