Rabada back to No. 1

A day after he was suspended for two Test matches, Kagiso Rabada had some motivation to bless Tuesday after he moved back to the highest point of the ICC Test knocking down some pins rankings.

This takes after his stellar execution amid the Proteas' triumphant second Test against Australia at St George's Park in Port Elizabeth, which South Africa won by six wickets.

Rabada created coordinate figures of 11 for 150 – the fifth time he has taken a 10-wicket pull in a diversion – to help set up the win for the Proteas to level the arrangement 1-1 with two Tests to go.

Tragically Rabada won't have any further impact in the arrangement, unless Cricket South Africa effectively bid the two-coordinate suspension, which came to fruition after he got four negative mark focuses.

The 22-year-old Rabada has achieved a vocation high 902 focuses on the ICC rankings – the fourth South African to do as such after Vernon Philander (912), Shaun Pollock (909) and Dale Steyn (909).
