Red carpet rolled out as President reaches Guwahati

A celebrity central was taken off to welcome President M Abdul Hamid here this evening. 

President Hamid touched base at Guwahati, Assam as a major aspect of his four-day India visit to join the "Establishing Conference of the International Solar Alliance (ISA)and Solar Summit - 2018" in New Delhi slated for March 11. 

A VVIP flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines, conveying the President and his escort individuals, arrived at Guwahati International Airport of Assam at around 1:44 pm (nearby time). 

On his landing in the air terminal, the President was gotten by Assamese Governor Jagdish Mukh, Indian High Commissioner to Dhaka, Bangladesh High Commissioner to New Delhi and concerned authorities of Indian High Commission of Bangladesh here.

On Friday morning, the President will leave Guwahati for Balat by a helicopter of Indian Air Force. He is planned to visit Tagore's living arrangement in Shilong and Labon toward the evening. 

The Bangladesh President will visit different spots of the Indian territory of Meghalaya, where he remained amid the 1971 Liberation War.
