Sam Rockwell on Sunday won the Oscar for best supporting performing artist for "Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri," with one of the night's best movies getting the main honor.
Rockwell took the Academy Award for his part as supremacist, indecent cop Jason Dixon in the motion picture, a dim wrongdoing parody.
He bested his co-star Woody Harrelson, Willem Dafoe ("The Florida Project"), Richard Jenkins ("The Shape of Water") and Christopher Plummer ("All the Money in the World").
