Shashi Kapoor, Sridevi remembered at Oscars


Indian film symbol Shashi Kapoor and India's first female whiz Sridevi were respected at the 90th Academy Awards service here amid the "In Memoriam" montage. The Indian stars got a melodic tribute by Eddie Vedder who made that big appearance to sing Tom Petty's "Room at the best". 

Performing artist Jennifer Garner presented the portion by paying tribute to late star Audrey Hepburn. 

"There is no euphoria without distress," Garner stated, and after that recognized the loss of film world with the withdrew souls. 

Child of Prithviraj Kapoor and more youthful sibling of Raj Kapoor and Shammi Kapoor, Shashi Kapoor made his introduction in Bollywood with the 1961 film "Dharmputra" in the wake of filling in as a youngster craftsman. He passed away in December 2017.
