Atletico Madrid's Argentine mentor Diego Simeone said that had Lionel Messi been an Atletico player, his side would have won the alliance coordinate against Barca.
Messi has been in mind blowing free-kick scoring structure of late, scoring thrice in the last three amusements from a dead ball circumstance. The previous evening against Atleti, he twisted one over the divider towards the far-left corner of goalkeeper Jan Oblak. It was a shocking free-kick and it raised the Argentine's 600th profession objective and was critical to Barca's La Liga offer.
"On the off chance that we place Messi in one of our shirts, we would have won, he's an alternate player," said Simeone. Barca mentor Ernesto Valverde was requested to remark on Simeone's claim. The Barca mentor was frightened of what may have happened if Messi was not a Barca player.
"Messi is a player like no other on the planet. I don't realize what might have happened and I would prefer not to envision it."
Messi had in the past two amusements scored with splendid free-kicks. He scored with a supernatural under-the-divider free-kick against Girona before his left foot did the trap against Las Palmas as he tricked the guardian with a rocket-like free-kick that beat the goalie at his close post.
Simeone believed that the Barca number 10 did the harm and felt that the match was like the one where Atletico drew Barca 1-1 at home in the primary group meeting between the two sides this season.
"It was a fundamentally the same as diversion to the first. They had more ownership in the primary half, and in the second we responded in the wake of playing our cards, yet tragically couldn't get the draw," Simeone opined.
