Sridevi’s Chandni To Be Screened By IFFLA As A Tribute


The sixteenth Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles (IFFLA) here one month from now will have a remembrance tribute screening of Chandni, one of the jewels from the late Bollywood performer Sridevi's great true to life profession. 

The function will screen a 2K print of the 1989 hit Chandni, civility of Yash Raj Films, read an announcement. 

IFFLA, to be held April 11-15, will open with In The Shadows, featuring Manoj Bajpayee, and finish up with Rima Das' Village Rockstars. 

Different features incorporate Nagraj Manjule's short film An Essay of the Rain, Ben Rekhi's The Ashram featuring Kal Penn, Vaishali Sinha's Ask The Sexpert around 93-year old sex counsel reporter Mahinder Watsa, The Hungry featuring Naseeruddin Shah and Tisca Chopra, Hansal Mehta's Omerta and Nila Madhab Panda's Kadvi Hawa. 

The line-up incorporates 12 dialects and a rundown of first and second-time movie producers, including 11 ladies producers.
