Casually dressed policemen confined Jatiyatabadi Swechchhasebak Dal president Shafiul Bari Babu from Jatiya Press Club territory on Tuesday, reports UNB.
A group of Detective Branch of police lifted him up while he was returning home from the press club territory subsequent to joining BNP's human chain program around 11:45am.
Reached, BNP senior joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said he got the data that Babu was confined by the DB police.
He firmly censured and dissented the capture of Swechchhasebak Dal president and requested his discharge promptly.
