UK police probe 'racist' package sent to Harry and Meghan


Police are researching a suspicious bundle that was sent to Prince Harry and his fiancee Meghan Markle as a supremacist abhor wrongdoing, Scotland Yard said Thursday. 

The Metropolitan Police constrain said "a bundle containing a substance" was conveyed to St. James' Palace, where Harry has his office, on Feb. 

The power said the substance "was tried and affirmed as non-suspicious." 

The power said counterterrorism investigators are researching the occurrence as an asserted malignant correspondence offense, "and it is being dealt with as a bigot detest wrongdoing." 

The Evening Standard daily paper detailed that the bundle was a letter containing white powder and a supremacist message. 

The ruler and Markle are because of wed May 19 at Windsor Castle. 

Prior this month, a letter containing white powder was sent to an office at Parliament, prompting a halfway departure of the building. It additionally was observed to be non-dangerous, reports AP.
