UP Government Says Won't Open New Engineering Colleges As 62% Seats Vacant


The Uttar Pradesh government today precluded opening new building universities, saying an enormous 62 for every penny situates in existing specialized organizations in the state were lying empty. "Sixty-two for each penny situates in designing universities are empty and government wouldn't open any new building school in the state," Technical Education Minister Ashutosh Tondon said amid Question Hour in the Assembly. 

Answering to Samajwadi Party part Sanjay Garg's inquiry on why such an extensive number of seats were empty, Tondon stated: "It happened on the grounds that the past government did not focus on foundation offices and permitted opening of designing universities however they were not required. 

"We are guaranteeing that nature of training is kept up. 

No new educators were selected in government building universities after 2007. We have endorsed Rs. 200 crore for creating infrastructural offices in government building universities," he said. 

He said to keep the utilization of the name of an educator in various schools, the administration was enjoying instructors' database with Aadhaar card while grants were additionally being connected with Aadhaar. 

"Establishments mocking AICTE standards will be examined," he included.
