Head of Aircraft Accident Investigation Group (AAIG) of Bangladesh Capt Salahuddin M Rahmatullah is set to leave Dhaka for Kathmandu today (Sunday) to lead joint examination on US-Bangla Airlines destructive plane crash with Nepalese test advisory group and other outside specialists.
"According to Annex 13 of ICAO, one authorize delegate from the aircrafts have nation can direct examination mutually with the test group of the nation saw mischance. We designated Head of our AAIG as our authorize agent in this respects," Wing Commander Chy M Ziaul Kabir, Director (flight Safety and controls) of Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) revealed to BSS yesterday.
Specifying that the AAIG Head will leave Dhaka for Kathmandu tomorrow morning, Kabir said according to the ICAO administer the licensed delegate can take help shape a few counsels, on the off chance that it is required.
"We keep five more authorities of AAIG standby in this respects. On the off chance that the AAIG Head will require bolster they go along with him as consultant later on," he said.
The AAIG was shaped under CAAB in June, 2016 to research any airplane mishap freely.
