French President Emmanuel Macron touched base in New Delhi late Friday night on a four-day state visit to India, reports Xinhua.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Macron are slated to hold two-sided talks Saturday, following which various settlements are required to be inked between the two nations, as per India's External Affairs Ministry.
"The visit of President Macron is gone for fortifying the reciprocal monetary, political and key measurement of our engagement," the Ministry prior said in an announcement.
Modi and President Macron will Sunday co-seat the Founding Conference of the International Solar Alliance (ISA), a lead Indian activity propelled by the two nations on sidelines of Paris Climate Conference in 2015.
Reciprocal exchange amongst India and France touched almost 11 billion US dollars amid April 2016 to March 2017. France is the ninth biggest remote speculator in India.
