Govt, ACC seek stay on Khaleda’s bail


Two separate interests have been documented with Appellate Division against four-month between time safeguard of BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia in Zia Orphanage Trust join case, UNB reports. 

Supporter on record Sufia Khatun documented the interest in the interest of state while legal advisor Khurshid Alam Khan, for the benefit of Anti-Corruption Commission, held up another interest on Tuesday. 

The ACC attorney said that Chamber Judge of Appellate Division will hear the interests at twelve. 

On Monday, the High Court conceded the between time safeguard to Khaleda Zia. 

On February 22, BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia recorded the request of with the High Court looking for safeguard in the Zia Orphanage Trust unite case. 

Lawyer Nowshad Jamir and Barrister Kaiser Kamal, for the benefit of the BNP boss, presented the 880-page safeguard request of indicating 31 justification for giving her safeguard. 

On February 25, Khaleda Zia neglected to secure safeguard for the situation as the High Court says it will pass a request on her safeguard appeal to after getting every one of the archives identifying with the judgment from the lower court. 

Prior, the HC requested that the lower court present all the applicable archives inside 15 days. 

On February 8, the Dhaka Special Court-5 indicted the previous Prime Minister and BNP administrator and condemned her to five years' detainment in the Zia Orphanage Trust join case. She was then sent to old focal correctional facility at Nazimuddin Road in the city. 

The court read out a 632-page compressed adaptation of the decision on that day and it discharged the full 1174-page duplicate of the decision on February 19.
