An Afghan authority says no less than five Afghan police powers have been slaughtered after agitators assaulted their checkpoint in western Farah territory.
Fared Bakhtawer, leader of the common committee in Farah, said Tuesday that Insurgents took five other police alive from the checkpoint close Farah city.
Nobody has asserted obligation regarding the assault, yet Bakhtawer pointed the finger at Taliban radicals, who have ventured up assaults in the territory as of late against Afghan security powers.
A day sooner, security powers recovered a region central station in Farah, hours after Taliban warriors overran police and regulatory workplaces, killing eight police and injuring 10 others.
Throughout the end of the week, Taliban executed 15 Afghan powers including seven armed force commandos and eight police in Bala Buluk locale in Farah, reports AP.
