BGB, BGP conduct joint patrol along border

A joint watch was directed between the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) of Bangladesh and the Border Guard Police (BGP) of Myanmar along the Bangladesh-Myanmar verge on Sunday. 

The watch was directed between Bandarban's Ghumdum and Rakhine's Tambru on Sunday from 1000 hrs to 1200 hrs, BGB 34 legion Commanding Officer Lt Col Monzurul Hassan Khan affirmed to this reporter. 

It will proceed throughout the following few of days, he said. 

"The joint watch will enhance the connection of fringe powers of the two nations and reinforce their approach", he included. 

Rohingya pioneer Dil Mohammad said "We trust the joint watch will have the capacity to acquire peace for the general population a dead zone". 

Fifteen BGB individuals and 17 BGP individuals participated in the watch, which began from Bangladesh-Myanmar Friendship Bridge close Ghumdum fringe station (BOP) and finished up close Tambru BOP.
