People will give befitting reply to BNP's violent acts: Quader

Street Transport and Bridges Minister and Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader yesterday said that the general population would give a befitting answer to BNP on the off chance that it does vicious acts for the sake of development. 

"The general population are currently more cognizant and restrained. They don't need any turmoil, so they didn't bolster BNP's brutal demonstrations for the sake of development," he advised a capacity to establish framework stone of super structure development of Meghna-Gumti second scaffold on Dhaka-Chittagong expressway at Daudkandi. 

Venture executive (PD) Md Saidul Haque, extra undertaking chief AFM Ilias Hossain, Roads and Highways Department extra boss designer Md Abdus Sabur, Daudkandi upazila director Major (retd) Mohammad Ali Sumon and region chairman Naeem Yusuf Sheik were available on the event, among others. 

Quader communicated his good faith that the development of Kanchpur-Meghana and Meghna-Gumti 2dn extension on the Dhaka-Chittagong expressway would be finished by December, a half year before the stipulated time. 

He said after finish of the development works, the extensions will diminish activity clog on the thruway.
